MapGroupPos Editor Filter

Removes <group> entries from mapgrouppos.xml when the group/asset name does not exist in mapgroupproto.xml. Outputs a cleaned mappos file and a removed-items report.

Expert Input Guide

  • You can mix input modes per side: upload file or paste XML directly.
  • Paste mode has priority. If XML is pasted, the tool uses pasted text even when a file is still selected.
  • Use Clear file when the wrong upload was chosen, then switch to manual paste mode cleanly.
  • Ignore case treats names like Land_House_1 and land_house_1 as equal.
  • Trim whitespace removes accidental leading/trailing spaces before matching names.
